Lately the 2 little ones have been wanting to snuggle with me before they go to bed. I have tried to get them to snuggle with John since I see them all day. Nope they want mom but if Ben is tired enough he will tolerate John and crawl up and fall asleep. Last night John had to take Donnovan to the church building for his Priesthood interview. Like always Ben wanted to snuggle as did Stef. Ben made it up on my lap first and was asleep within minutes. Now trying to get him to bed by myself was another thing. Carrying a 40lb sleeping child is HEAVY!!!! I made it to his room, Stef pulled his covers down and into bed he went. I sat down again and Stef crawled up, she ask that I find something else on TV as she was not interested in Wipeout. So I found Tinkerbell and she settled in. She kept yawning and yawning so I finally said this:
mom: Nene just close your eyes and go to sleep.
Stef:Momma if I close my eyes don't put me to bed
mom: OK sure ( wink)
Tinkerbell came back on. Then a commercial, she was yawning, I said:
mom: nene just close your eyes and go to sleep.
Stef: Momma if I close my eyes don't put me to bed
mom: OK sure (wink)
This happened 2 more times. After the 4th time she gave one big sigh and fell asleep. I changed the channel and took her to bed.
