On saturday Donnovan and I went to the library. After I got done looking for my books I went to help out Donnovan. He does pretty good but I need to help him get some reading books. Otherwise he would mostly get comic books. I have had him read some of the classic's like Black Beauty, Where the Red Fern Grows, things like that and he has enjoyed them. Right now he is reading the Eragon series and is fixated on dragons. While I was sitting at the table waiting for him I noticed this book on a shelf. So I told Donnovan to get it. The title is: Dork in Disguise. The picture looks like Donnovan as well. He laughed and I laughed then I read the inside cover. It says: "Last year, Jerry Flack was a dork. This year, at a new school in a new town, he's decided to start a new life altogether- as a Cool Kid" I was laughing so hard people were looking at me. Donnovan wanted to know what was up and I read that part to him and he said" mom that isn't funny". The reason it is so funny is not only does the kid look like Donnovan but this school year, in a new town, in a new school, Donnovan decides he wants to be cool!!!!!
