I took Ben to the dr's yesterday about his right eye. We first noticed it about a year ago and my mom has been bugging us to get it checked out. So before we left MO we took him into the drs and he told us that Ben had a lazy eye. He didn't seem to worried about so therefore I wasn't worried. But my mom on the other hand decided to look up lazy eye on the computer (she is getting to be pretty savvy about the computer) and read up on it and has been bugging me about getting him in to see a Pediatric Ophthalmologist. So like anything else about enough prodding I took him in and got told not so good news. he has to wear glasses for 2 months then need to take him back and see if it is any better. My thing is how am I going to get a 2 year old to keep glasses on and if it doesn't work then we are looking at surgery. But if it does correct it with his glasses on then he will wear them till he is 14, but his eyes could still cross when his glasses are off. So that makes no sense to me either. So like my mom keeps saying I will be on the internet to see what else I can do to help him get stronger eyes.
