Today is Donnovan's clean slate party. They are challenaged to go 6 weeks without any sign in's on their communacater that I sign every night. Well needless to say this has been a challenge for me more than Donnovan. I have had to question the sign in's that Donnovan gets and then the teacher takes it out on him. She cannot get his name spelled right and I finally took it to the principal and he talked to her but then she talked to Donnovan about it and said it wasn't her fault. She will then call me Mrs. Ringler when she knows that my last name is Bernard (hence the signing of the communicater everynight) So anyhow he brought it home last night with 2 sign in's on it. He knows I get upset so he is trying to explain why he got them. The first was from when he was sick 2 days this week, apparently he was supposed to transfer over his assignments (which he HAS never had to do) from the list that was sent home to his communitcater and second he didn't finish a piece of homework. He never got the paper in the first place but not only that he got "D" hall which is where he had to go to fisnish his paper. I know what was sent home since I went to the school to pick it up and I crossed everything off as he did it. So I wrote a note to the teacher to see if that is really the story. If it is I am going up to the school to take it up with the principal. I have had it with this teacher. We have heard that either she likes you or she doesn't and same goes for the parents. Well I guess she doesn't like us. It all goes back to the beginning of the school year when Donnovan missed th first 2 days of school since we were in MO at the time and had no choice. She didn't go over anything that was disscussed during those 2 days he missed. Agh!! I could on and on but I will end for now.
